Working in a busy commercial space is one of the most challenging conditions for a floor installer. The window for work is limited to closing hours—often just a few hours at night or early in the morning—and the result must be perfect before the space reopens to the public. There is no chance to return the next day to make corrections.
For Macha Poke, a restaurant in the heart of Milan, Flavio Favali installed the eco-friendly wallpaper designed by Simone Guidarelli for Officinarkitettura. The eco-friendly material requires controlled installation conditions: temperature, humidity, and drying times must be managed with precision, even when time is limited.
The Challenge
Complete a high-end installation within extremely tight timeframes, ensuring seamless joints and flawless surfaces before the premises reopen.
