Hospitality — contract project
The QC Terme Milano project is one of the most complex undertakings ever undertaken in terms of scale, customization, and technical diversity. Eight floors of a luxury hotel, 84 rooms, hallways, relaxation rooms, and common areas: each space features custom graphics, unique dimensions, and ceilings of varying heights. A project that leaves no room for improvisation.
The supply, designed by Simone Guidarelli for Officinarkitettura, required logistics and technical management of the highest caliber. Each roll was numbered and assigned to a specific space. The installation had to maintain visual continuity between rooms and hallways, between walls and ceilings, and between adjacent spaces featuring different graphics yet forming part of a single visual narrative.
The relaxation rooms presented the most complex challenge: curved surfaces, architectural recesses, and wall coverings that completely envelop the space without visible interruptions. A project that requires not only technical skill but also the ability to interpret the space and anticipate every potential issue before beginning installation.
The Challenge
Coordinating a large-scale contract project featuring a variety of graphic designs, variable ceiling configurations, and complex technical spaces such as relaxation rooms, while adhering to the construction schedule of an operational hotel facility.
The result
A luxury hotel where every room tells a unique visual story, with a level of craftsmanship that the guest doesn’t see—but senses. This is the work of Flavio Favali.
