Feature

Seamless installation

Bologna’s porticoes, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2021, are one of Italy’s most iconic architectural features. Transforming them into custom wall coverings for short-term rental apartments is an idea that tells the story of the place even before the guest steps through the door.

The project involved installing custom photographic prints of Bologna’s porticoes in various apartments in the Porta Mascarella neighborhood. The most important technical choice was to use a single, seamless panel: each wall is covered by a single panel, completely eliminating the seams that would break the continuity of the photographic image.

The Challenge

Manage the installation of large-format backdrops—which, by their very nature, are more difficult to position and adjust—ensuring a flawless photographic image with no visible seams.

The result

Apartments with a unique and instantly recognizable visual identity that convey the character of Bologna to visitors from the very first moment.
